It is winter time in Kansas. Last year we faced drought like we had not faced for years but we are very thankful that we received fall rains to bring up the wheat and get it up and growing. We had a large snow (at least for Kansas!) of 8″ plus around Thanksgiving! We also have received some other beautiful rains. The wheat fields were looking great as we came into winter and it went dormant so we are looking forward to March when they began to green up and our area becomes dotted with green fields of wheat! Spring is a wonderful time of year and we are looking forward to the farming season that is approaching!
